I was once a foreigner myself. Living and working in the United States, I had to find my way inside a language and a culture that were not mine. That experience showed me something no textbook can teach: the most expensive misunderstandings between cultures are usually not the obvious ones, but the ones nobody notices. I know exactly what that does to a person's confidence, relationships and working life. More importantly, I know how it can be prevented.

For years I taught Polish to foreigners. In the process I learned that language is not really about words. People struggled not because of vocabulary, but because they could not read how Poles think, how they build trust, how they express respect and what they expect in return.

I work as a communication trainer with professionals and organisations in international and intercultural settings. That work has shown me that when communication is genuinely done right, people start to see each other differently, make sense of the world differently, and succeed differently in business too.

Over the years I have worked in mental health, intercultural adaptation and the building of international communities. That experience taught me that cultural adaptation is not only a professional matter. It directly affects how people perform, how they lead and how they present themselves. So I support people through every stage of that transition, focusing not just on the business card but on the person carrying it.
